Creativity knows no limits when little hands and big imaginations come together!
Our young learners participated with great excitement and enthusiasm in the Tear & Stick Competition, organised around the fascinating theme “Insects.”
For the activity, each child was provided with a worksheet featuring a beautiful caterpillar image, along with origami papers in a variety of colours. The origami papers were torn into tiny pieces and given to the children. They then used their creativity and imagination to carefully choose the colours and shapes of the paper pieces and stick them onto the caterpillar, transforming the simple worksheet into a bright and colourful masterpiece.
Many children went a step further by creatively searching for similar-looking colours and shapes to make their caterpillars more attractive and unique. It was wonderful to see them making their own choices and expressing their creativity through the arrangement of the tiny pieces.
This engaging activity was not just about creating a beautiful picture—it was also a wonderful opportunity for our little ones to develop their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration, patience, creativity, imagination, and sense of colour.
It was heartwarming to see the children working independently, carefully tearing and sticking the paper pieces and proudly bringing their caterpillars to life. Their enthusiasm, focus, and joy made the entire activity truly special.
Every little torn piece of paper reflected patience, effort, and creativity, reminding us that even the simplest materials can create something wonderfully beautiful when combined with imagination.
