Std 7A Class Assembly : The Compass of Life

“Values are the directions, and good advice is the compass that leads us to success."

Class 7A conducted the morning assembly on 23 rd June, 2026 based on the inspiring theme, "The Compass of Life – Good Advice Guides Us in the Right Direction." The assembly highlighted the importance of listening to parents, teachers, elders, and following good values that help us choose the right path in life.

The programme began with a warm welcome to Rev. Fr. Orville, Supervisor Ms. Pauline, teachers, and students. A prayer seeking God's blessings for the new academic year 2026-27 was led by Jay Mohite, followed by a guided meditation conducted by Mrs. Snehal D'Souza, which encouraged everyone to become the best version of themselves by choosing honesty, discipline, and kindness.

A melodious saxophone performance by Miguel and Yohan added beauty and serenity to the assembly. The highlight of the programme was a thought-provoking skit titled "The Compass of Life." Through the characters of Rahul and Aman, the skit portrayed two contrasting attitudes towards advice and responsibility. Rahul ignored the guidance of his parents and teachers and suffered the consequences, while Aman listened to advice, managed his time wisely, and earned appreciation for his responsible behaviour.

The skit effectively conveyed that advice given by parents, teachers, and elders is born out of love and concern and serves as a guiding compass in life. The audience was reminded of the beautiful saying, "God cannot be everywhere, therefore he made parents, teachers, and elders to show us the right path."

A soulful song by Caden and a graceful dance performance further enriched the assembly. The programme concluded with an inspiring address by Rev. Fr. Orville, who encouraged the students to begin the new academic year with faith, discipline, gratitude, and a commitment to uphold good values.

The assembly was meaningful, well-coordinated, and successfully conveyed the message that good values and wise guidance are the true compass that lead us towards peace, happiness, and success.
