Parents and Educators : Partners in Education"A united effort builds a brighter tomorrow.”-Ms. KarunaOn 29th June 2026, the Parents of Std 5 and 6 had their Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the primary hall from 8 am. The meeting began with a prayer led by Ms. Daksha, followed by a welcome from Ms. Christina to all parents and staff.Rev. Father Rector Godfrey Dsouza thanked parents for their support and stressed that ‘Home is the child’s first school and the school the second home’, calling for strong parent-teacher partnership. Addressing parenting in the digital age, he advised parents to monitor children’s smartphone and internet use, be alert to social media’s impact, encourage family conversations, restrict access to inappropriate sites, and promote discipline and responsible online behaviour. He also urged parents to spend quality time with children, engage in their academics, and nurture moral values and emotional well-being. Ms. Daksha translated his address into Hindi.Rev. Father Principal Fr. Flovi D'Souza welcomed parents to the first PTA meeting of 2026-27. He appreciated the excellent SSC Board results and parents’ role in achieving it. He introduced the school’s new ERP App for all official communication and the Sports Division with coaching through Don Bosco Academy. He emphasized discipline, punctuality, cleanliness, regular attendance, and using English on campus. Class teachers and associate teachers of Std. V & VI were then introduced.School Administrator Fr. Orville Coutinho spoke on school maintenance and administration, thanked parents for their cooperation, and invited constructive suggestions. Ms. Deepali from Prafulta led a session on emotional management, healthy friendships, expressing feelings, strengthening family bonds, and stress management. Year-long workshops for students and parents were announced.Ms. Daksha outlined the PTA election process. One representative per class will be elected as per school norms to form the PTA body for the year. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks for parents’ participation and support, reaffirming the school-parent commitment to every child’s holistic growth, discipline, and well-being.
