“Little Travellers on the Move!”

The Nursery boys celebrated Transport Day on 25th March 2026, enjoying a lively and educational experience that helped them discover the exciting world of vehicles. The day was filled with curiosity, creativity and joyful learning.

The classroom was transformed into a colourful transport corner, decorated with vibrant pictures and charts of different vehicles that travel on land, in water, and in the air. The cheerful setting immediately sparked excitement among the children.

The celebration began with a friendly conversation about various modes of transport. The boys confidently introduced the vehicles they had dressed up as or brought along, including buses, cars, trains, aeroplanes, and ships. Their costumes and toys added to the fun and encouraged everyone to participate enthusiastically.

During the session, the children also learnt simple and important ideas such as following traffic signals and recognising helpful emergency vehicles like ambulances, police cars, and fire engines. They were also introduced to vehicles that help build roads and buildings, helping them understand how transport supports everyday life.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the event was the creative craft activity done by the children where they did painting, sticking, making cars, trains, hot air balloons and sail boats. Using colourful shapes and materials. This hands-on activity allowed them to explore their creativity while reinforcing the concept of transportation. The completed vehicles were taken home as a lovely takeaways from the celebration.

To continue the learning beyond the classroom, parents were encouraged to show their children nearby transport points such as railway stations, bus depots, airports, ferry boats etc. This helped the boys relate their classroom lessons to the real world.

Transport Day turned out to be a delightful and meaningful event. Through storytelling, discussion, play, and art, the children discovered how different vehicles help people travel and connect with the world around them.

The day concluded with happy faces, joyful and wonderful memories of a day filled with learning and fun.
