An Interactive Training Programme for Marathi Teachers was conducted on 3rd October 2026, in accordance with the objectives of NEP 2020. The programme focused on making Marathi language teaching more interactive, activity-based and effective, particularly for students from English-medium schools organized by Nitin Prakashan.
The session provided teachers with practical strategies to enhance students’ reading, writing, vocabulary and grammar skills. Innovative methods such as language games, storytelling, interactive activities and creative projects were discussed. Special emphasis was placed on making grammar enjoyable, teaching poems effectively and encouraging students to practise Marathi regularly.
The resource persons, Mrs. Pratima Kulkarni, M.A., B.Ed. (Marathi), associated with Dhruv Global School, Akola, and Ms. Shruti Joshi, M.A., B.Ed. (Sanskrit & Marathi), from MES Bal Shikshan Mandir English Medium School, Pune, shared valuable classroom experiences and practical teaching strategies.
The programme was informative, engaging and enriching, equipping teachers with creative approaches to make Marathi learning enjoyable and meaningful. It was a valuable professional development experience that will help teachers foster greater confidence, participation and interest in Marathi among students.
