Field Visit to Reliance Supermarket
Field Visit to Reliance Supermarket
On 9th September 2026, the Jr. KG students went on an educational field visit to Reliance Supermarket. The children were accompanied by their teachers and were excited to explore the supermarket and learn through a real-life experience.
The visit began with the children exploring the fruits and vegetables section. They observed a variety of vegetables and fruits and identified their different colours, shapes and sizes. The teacher introduced them to different vegetables and encouraged them to observe and name them.
The children then explored the various sections of the supermarket, including packaged food, beverages and frozen food. They observed how different products are neatly arranged and displayed on shelves and in refrigerators.
The children were also introduced to the concept of fresh and frozen food. They observed how certain food items are kept in freezers to maintain their freshness.
Throughout the visit, the children actively participated in conversations with their teachers. They answered questions, shared their observations and showed great curiosity about the products around them. They also learnt about the importance of choosing fresh fruits and vegetables as part of a healthy diet.
The field visit helped the children develop their observation, communication and social skills while giving them an opportunity to connect their classroom learning with the world around them.
The visit to Reliance Supermarket was a fun, interactive and enriching learning experience for our Jr. KG students. It provided them with an opportunity to explore, observe and learn beyond the classroom. The children’s enthusiasm and curiosity made the visit truly memorable. They returned to school with new knowledge, happy memories and a better understanding of their everyday surroundings.
