Dream Big – Achieve Bigger: An Inspiring Assembly by Class 6C
“A dream is not what you see when you sleep, but that which keeps you awake.”
– Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam
On 21st August, 2025, the students of Class 6C conducted a meaningful and inspiring assembly based on the theme “Dream Big – Achieve Bigger”. The programme was graced by our Principal Rev. Fr. Flovi D’souza, Supervisor Ms. Daksha, parents, teachers, and students of Std 5 and 6.
The assembly began with a warm welcome by the comperes, followed by a session of meditation led by the class teacher, Ms. Karuna Dadipogu, to promote calmness and focus. The programme beautifully connected the theme of “dreaming big” with World Humanitarian Day, celebrated annually on 19th August. Students highlighted this year’s humanitarian message “Anchored in hope, soaring to heights”, reminding everyone of the importance of compassion and courage.
The assembly showcased the life stories of great personalities who dared to dream: Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, who rose from humble beginnings to become the Missile Man and President of India. Mother Teresa, who dedicated her life to serving the poor and needy. The Salesian Priests, inspired by St. John Bosco, who continue to educate and guide youth. Sachin Tendulkar, whose discipline, passion, and hard work made him the “Little Master” of cricket. Through short skits, narrations, and video presentations, students portrayed how each of these icons turned their dreams into achievements while inspiring others.
The assembly concluded with the comperes encouraging everyone to set ambitious goals, work hard, and use their dreams to make the world a better place. Fr. Flovi appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers of Class 6C for putting up an inspiring performance. The assembly ended leaving the audience with a powerful message: “Anchored in hope, soaring to heights – let our dreams be rooted in compassion and guided by purpose.”
