Celebrating the Wonders of Seasons – Jr. KG Class event- 19th September 2025

“Seasons teach us patience, balance, and the art of moving with life’s flow.”

On 19th September 2025, the Jr. KG class joyfully celebrated their Unit 2 event on the theme “Seasons.” Each child was assigned a season—summer, monsoon, or winter—and came prepared to showcase their learning through engaging presentations.

The event began with a thoughtful recap by the teacher, highlighting key health tips and values for each season. With confidence and clarity, all children spoke about their assigned seasons, reflecting their growing understanding of the world around them.

A highlight of the event was the vibrant display of handcrafted props—ice creams, snowmen, umbrellas, and more—that brought each season to life. Their creativity further shone through in a sponge dabbing art activity, where they used textures and colours to express seasonal elements. These artworks served as delightful takeaways and visual reminders of their learning.

An interactive PowerPoint presentation kept the children engaged, encouraging them to answer questions and think critically. Discussions on nature conservation, saying no to plastic, and understanding global warming emphasized the importance of protecting our planet. The session helped nurture early environmental awareness and responsibility. The children were sensitized to appreciate nature’s beauty, the significance of saying no to plastic, and the importance of respecting and protecting the environment. This nurturing of values aimed to instill a sense of responsibility, encouraging them to care for the planet and its resources. Teacher also spoke about global warming and the disasters it has on our health because of tree cutting.

The celebration ended on a cheerful note with a lively seasonal song and dance, spreading joy, laughter, and unity.

This memorable event beautifully blended learning with creativity and values. It reminded us all that every season, like every child, has something unique to offer—and that caring for nature is one of the greatest lessons we can teach.
