Blue Day Celebration – Nursery Section πŸ’™

25th August 2026 – Miss Tasneem Jumai

β€œA Splash of Blue, a World of Wonder!”

β€œFrom the endless sky to the deepest sea,

Blue paints a world of wonder and glee.

With little hands, bright smiles, and hearts so free,

Our Nursery boys celebrated blue with joy and glee!” πŸ’™

The Nursery section of Don Bosco High School, Matunga, turned into a beautiful world of blue as our little boys celebrated Blue Day with infectious enthusiasm, creativity, and cheerful smiles. From the sparkling classroom decorations to their delightful self-created T-shirts, every corner reflected the beauty and magic of the colour blue.

The highlight of the celebration was the boys proudly wearing the T-shirts they had personally hand-printed. Each T-shirt was a little masterpiece, adorned with tiny blue handprints and playful patterns. What made the activity truly special was seeing the children admire their own creations with a wonderful sense of pride and excitement. Their little hands had transformed simple T-shirts into colourful memories that they could proudly wear.

For the parents, it was a particularly heartwarming sight. Watching their little ones create something with their own hands and then proudly wear it brought smiles, joy, and a few emotional moments. The boys looked absolutely adorable as they walked around in their unique creations, each one carrying a story of imagination, effort, and innocent creativity.

The classroom too came alive in a symphony of blue! Blue objects, streamers, and decorations created a cheerful and vibrant atmosphere, while the boys themselves became the brightest stars of the celebration.

The excitement continued with a lively Show-and-Tell activity. The boys enthusiastically brought different blue objects from home and confidently spoke a few lines about them. From naming and describing their objects to listening eagerly to their friends, the activity provided a wonderful opportunity to develop their vocabulary, communication skills, listening skills, and confidence.

And what is a celebration without a little sparkle and fun? To make the day even more memorable, each little boy received a blue crown as a special takeaway. With their crowns proudly perched on their heads, the boys twirled around happily, transforming themselves into adorable little kings of Don Bosco!

Beyond the colour itself, Blue Day became a joyful learning experience. The boys discovered that blue is not just the colour of the sky and the seaβ€”it can also represent peace, calmness, trust, imagination, and creativity. Through hands-on activities, conversations, and joyful participation, learning became a colourful adventure.

The celebration encouraged the children to observe, express, create, communicate, and learn through play. Most importantly, it reminded us that even the simplest classroom activity can create treasured childhood memories.

As the day came to an end, the classroom was filled with happy faces, colourful creations, and countless little stories to take home. Blue Day was truly a splash of creativity, a wave of laughter, and an ocean of happy memories!
