Life Skills Calendar -2025-2026

Our primary goal and purpose are our children; and as a school our emphasis has always been on their holistic development in academics, sports and other extracurricular activities. 

It’s time now to push the envelope and also focus on the wellbeing of every student.

Any physical discomfort of the child is always attended to and treated in time, but what about the mental well-being? This, is now our PRIORITY!

Don Bosco High School Matunga, has decided to pave the way to include Wellness into academics, sports and other activities right from Pre-Primary to Std X from the next academic year, 2024-2025 onwards.

 Presenting…. W I S E – Wellness Initiative for Serene Existence (A CSR Project at DBHS Matunga)

a project initiated with only one goal – Equal & Quality Education to every student despite their limitations!

W I S E is planned with an objective of sustainable development having inclusivity at its core. By ensuring that our students are looked after and moulded to become independent, responsible, abiding and conscious contributors to society, we aim to promote social equity and equal opportunities which will lead to economic substantiality fostering a better quality of life.

Drishti www.drishtionline.com is our partner agency who will come in with their team of professionals; specialised in counselling, special education, psychological assessments and the overall wellbeing of our students to help in our initiative. Drishti partners with schools in Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune providing with special needs support. These programs are built around school requirements of life skill guidance, monitoring, liaison with experts and officials on need basis, etc.

The cost of this program with Dristhi is ~ Rs. 500 per student for one year. In addition, we plan to make this project well thought out and comprehensive which will include many external factors. Here is a phase wise plan outlining the expenses forecasted. WISECostSchedule2024-2025

As a government aided school, we have restrictions to increase the fee every year and are also cognizant about the financial limitations faced by a majority of the families of our students. Hence, we appeal to the generous benefactors to partner with us and extend your support in this endeavour.
