Singing Competition (Std II)
The Std II had their singing competition on 19th Sep. 2008, the singing Sir Mr. Saby Franco choose 5 students from each division. The judges Mr. Augustine Rebello, Mrs. Flory Rebello and Mr. Christopher D'Curz judged the competition. Mrs.Flory Rebello then sang some songs for the children, which the children enjoyed.
The winners of each division
Std II A : Ethan D'souza and Elvin Rodrigues won the 1st prize.
Kaelin Sanfrancis won the 2nd prize and Caleb thottukadavil won the 3rd prize.
Std II B : Darryl Pinto won the 1st prize. Mahlon Texeira won the 2nd prize and Alastair Crasto won the 3rd prize.
Std II C : Kyne Mendes won the 1st prize. Dwayne Saldanha won the 2nd prize and Daniel Baptista won the 3rd prize.
Std II D : Kabir Sinha won the 1st prize. Rahil Valia won the 2nd prize and Aryan Kamat won the 3rd prize.
Drawing Competition (Std I to IV)
The Primary section std I to IV had their drawing competition on the 16th sept '08 the topics were: 'The festival I love ' for Std I & II ' My favorite story' for Std III and IV.The students brightened their work with crayons, std III and IV were allowed to use a black feltpen for the outline. The ideas and the colour combination used in their drawings was breath taking. Ten best artworks were chosen from each class. The competition was judged by the teachers of the school. The criteria was neatness, colour combination and creativity.
The children enjoyed the experience.
Singing Competition (Std III & IV)
The Singing competition of Std III & IV was held on 15th Sept. 08. in the primary school Hall. The boys had to sing only English songs. The three judges judged the boys on choice of price, tune pitch and presentation. Three boys with the highest totals were declared the winners.
They were:

Pereira Shannon/ III A - Second Prize
D'Souza Jason / III C - Third Prize
The winners are awarded certificates at the end of the school academic year.

Day (Std II)
|
Std II had their Cultural Day on 13th Sep 2008.. The theme was "Reach Out with Love". The programme was held in the school hall at 2.30 p.m The Members of the management Fr. Crispine D'Souza, Fr. Jude D'Mello were welcomed. The programme began with the welcome song by class 2C. This was followed by a prayer dance which was also sung by the students ' Do you want my hands Lord' 2D. The Chief guest and the management were then given a token of appreciation Fr. Principal then address the parents. Std 2A put up a skit ' The million Dollar Smile" followed by an action song Big things come from little things you do - Just imagine by Std 2C. Std 2B put up a skit on "The Lesson of Friendship". Fr. Rector then address the parents. Finally Std 2D gave a vote of thanks which was followed by the last item ' The thank you song'. |
Craft Competition
(Std III)
A craft competition for std III was held on 9th Sept, 08. All the students participated in the competion. The topic was 'Gift Wrapping'. All the work had to be done in class. The best wrapped boxes were chosen from each class. Ten best wrapped boxes were chosen from each class.
The class teachers and the craft teacher judged this competition the criteria being neatness, presentation and creativity.
Singing Competition (Std I)
The singing competition of Std I was held on 1st September, 2008. From each division, five boys were selected for the finals. After the competition Mrs. Flory Rebello and Mr Pravin D'souza sang beautiful songs to our little ones.

English Elocution (Std III & IV)
The students of Std III & IV had their English Elocution Competition on 30th Aug 2008, in the primary school hall. The criteria for Judgement was - Choice of poem, Expression, Diction, Memory. Mrs. Celine San Francis, one of the judges, came forward, congratulated the participants and shared her views about the Elocution Competition with the boys.

Clay modelling competition for Std I to IV was held on the 13th Aug'08. The thems were: The students were given one and a half hour to complete the work. All the students brought the materials they needed from home and enjoyed the competition. The winners will receive certificates on appreciation day. |

English Elocution (Std I)
Std I had their Elocution Competition on 12th August 2008 in the Primary school hall. Five boys from each division were selected. The children were applauded for the confidence with which they expressed themselves.

Day (Std III)

Std III had their Cultural Day on 9th Aug 08 in the Primary School Hall. The theme for their day was "Reaching out in service of our fellowmen". All the Students of Std III were given an opportunity to come on stage. The skits, songs and dances put up by the students with the help and guidance of their Head teacher and teachers centred around this theme. The audience which consisted of the parents of Std III and the members of the School Management appriceated the efforts of the teachers and the talent shown by the students. |
HANDWRITING COMPETITION STD III /IV
A handwriting competion was held for std III and IV on the 29th July '08. The purpose of holding this competition was to know the development of the fine motor skill in students.
The students were instructed verbally to write neatly, avoid erasers, follow punctuations and use only the Marian Richardson script. They were judged for neatness, legibility and transcription.
INSTALLATION
OF MONITORS - Std III /IV
The boys of Std III &IV witnessed a formal ceremony on 16th
July, 2008 in the Primary School Hall when the Captain and Vice-Captain
of the primary section and the Monitors of std III and IV were sworn in as leaders
for the academic year 2008-2009.
Through this solemn ceremony the young leaders realized that with Divine Grace
by our side no task is impossible and every duty must be done cheerfully thus
bringing out the essence of today’s theme- ‘BE A CHEERFUL
LEADER’

INSTALLATION
OF MONITORS - Std I /II
The Students of std I & II witnessed the installation of their class monitors on the 21st July 08. The theme for the day was 'Light'. The little leaders invoked God's blessings on themselves to help them keep the the commitment they had made to their teachers by singing a hymn.
