Hockey U/12
To our U/12 Hockey team for winning the Vijay Raheja Trophy in the M.S.S.A. Finals. They defeated St. Stanislaus 2-0
Trevin D'souza IV D made the school proud by getting the first Runners-Up position in the 'all for kids' Mumbai Inter School Elocution Championship held at the SNDT University campus in the first week of Dec 09.
Hockey U/14
U/14 Hockey team defeated St. Annes (Orlem) via T. B. to lift the Fr. Donnelly Cup in the Interschool Hockey Tournament organised by M.S.S.A.
Basket ball U/13
U/13 Basketball team were proud winners of the Esmero Figueiredo trophy(MSSA) for the fourth year in succession. In the final they defeated St. Joseph, Wadala
Football U/16
SEPTEMBER 21, 2009: We made it a treble of inter school titles this season by adding the Ahmed Sailor Cup to their Mumbai School Sports Association (MSSA) triumph and the Subroto Mukherjee cup win. By thrashing St. Anne’s school 4-1 in the finals of the MSSA Premier League at Azad Maidan on September 18, 2009, and also kept their unbeaten record this season alive.
This is the third trophy, which the U/16 team had bagged in the last 4 months. The team is on a winning spree, conquering MSSA premier League, Subroto Mukherjee trophy and Ahmed Sailor’s Champions trophy. The Principal, Fr. Bosco, Vice Principal Fr. Roy, coaches Leslie and Pillai were all proud to watch the boys jumping for joy and receiving the trophy. They came; they played and definitely conquered and are now unstoppable!

Poster Competition
Manan Vikam of Std VII A won the third prize for the on the spot poster competition organised by ' The Mohalla Committee Movement Trust and Mumbai Police (Zone IV)'. The Theme for the contest was 'Peace and Non-Violence'
Judo U/17
Congratulations to Udit Patadia (Std XD) for winning the Bronze Medal in Judo U/17 category at the state level.
Science Quiz
Results of F/North Ward Science Quiz contest held on Friday 13 November 2009.
24 Schools participated and our School won the 1st Prize.
The representatives of our school were Siddharth Jain - 9F Vinit Dedhiya - 9B.
D.S.O Athletics meet
Walter Anthony - 9C won the 1st place in the 1500mts race
and Savio Anthony - 9C won 3st place in the 3000mts race
Football U/16 B
Our U/16 'B' Football team for winning the IV Division title of the the M.S.S.A Football Tournament.
In the finals they defeated St. Pius
(Mulund)
the Score being 1- 0.
Basketball U/16
Our U/16 Basketball team were also winners of the Mumbai City Basketball Tournament.
In the finals they defeated St. Josephs (Wadala) the Score being 36- 19.

In the finals they defeated St. Andrews the Score being 2- 0.
They will now represent Mumbai for the State level Hockey Tournament to be held at Ahmednagar.
Football U/17
Our U/17 Football team for being crowned as Mah. StateChampions in the Subroto Mukerjee Cup Football Tournament.
In the finals they defeated Pune District via Tie Breaker.
They will now represent Mah. State for the National Subroto Mukerjee Cup to be held in New Delhi.
In the Inter School Seminar :
In the Inter School Seminar organised by K.R. Cama Oriental Institute on Saturday 12th Sep. the following students participated :
1) Aatman Vora - IX A
2) Siddanth Prabhu - X B
3) Shantanu Puro - X B
They did us proud as Siddanth Prabhu won the 2nd prize in the elocution competition and Aatman Vora won the 3rd Prize.
Siddanth Prabhu also won the consolation prize in the group discussion held later.

Congratulations to our U/15 Hockey team for emerging as Mumbai City winners in the Sub. Jr. Nehru Cup.
In the finals they defeated Our Lady of Dolours the Score being 2- 1 (Goal Scores were Sahil Shetty 9A & Dalyn Fernandes 8A)
Football U/17
Congratulations to our U/17 Football team for emerging as Mumbai City winners in the Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football tournament.
In the finals they defeated St. Xavier's College the Score being 2- 0 (Goal Scores Scott & Girik)
Another title for Bosco!!
U/12 Hockey Team were winners of the Minky Hockey Tournament, organised by Mumbai Hockey Association on 30th Aug 2009, They defeated St. Stanislaus (Bandra) (2-1) . Goals were scored by Troy D'Souza(6A) and Marc D'Souza(6A). Keanu D'Souza (6A) was adjudged as the player of the tournament.

Bosco win in a canter: Once again the U/16 football team of Don Bosco Matunga emerged winners of the Jhaveri Trophy(M.S.S.A), defeating St. Stanislous (2-0). We are proud of Adnan Khan and Scott D'Souza for scoring the goals. |

For the Years 2008-2009
Vaibhav Shah of Std IX -B was declared 'Spelling - Bee' for securing the first place out of a hundred participants at the Kidz Olmpiad - Spelling Competition organized by the Lions Club of Kings Circle.
Congratulations to Reckin Dary X F and Curtis Nazareth 10B for representing Mumbai District and emerging as champion. Rickin led the Membai team and was also declared as Man of the Tournament.
Congratulations to our under 14 Football team for being the State Champions in the Subroto Mukherjee Cup Football tournament. They will now represent Maharastra State for the Nationals to be held in Delhi in the First week of September.
Congratulations to our under 15 Hockey team for emerging as Mumbai Winners in the Sub.Junior Nehru Hockey Tournament. They will now represent Mumbai for the state level tournament.
Don Bosco Strikes Again:
Once again the Under-16 football team of Don Bosco Matunga emerged winners of the Ahmed Sailor knock-out tournament, defeating St. Anne’s, Malad, in a tie breaker 5-4. The Bosco team played very well with Harold Fernandes (boarder) and the skipper Curtis Nazareth putting up an exceptional performance. However St. Anne’s put forth a strong defense which made it difficult for the Bosco team to strike a goal.
